Known as the Wishbone chair, the CH24 is one of Hans J. Wegner’s best-known works. Wegner designed the Wishbone chair in 1949 and it has been in production at Carl Hansen & Søn since 1950. To give stability to the steam-bent top and ensure comfortable support, Wegner developed the characteristic Y-shaped back. Over time, the Wishbone Chair has gained recognition as the ideal chair, capturing the essence of modern Danish design.
