Knoll
Knoll was founded in New York in 1938 and grew into the home of American modernism.
Above all, Knoll’s collection is an architects’ collection. Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona chair, Eero Saarinen’s Tulip and Womb, and Harry Bertoia’s wire chairs were all born from structure, which is why they still look contemporary. More than forty Knoll designs belong to the permanent collection of MoMA in New York.
Knoll is now part of the MillerKnoll family, yet the classics are still made to the original drawings and dimensions.
