Collected personal data
Nomart Oy collects and processes personal data only to the extent necessary to implement the purposes described in this data protection statement.
Data content and data sources
The personal data provided to Nomart Oy by the customer or the user of Nomart Oy’s online services in different contexts (e.g., in connection with a product or newsletter subscription or registering for the online service) in different contexts may be, for example:
- First and last name (s), language of business
- Contact information: billing address, shipping address, phone numbers, email addresses, phone numbers
- Company name and business ID (in case of a company)
- Purchase-related information: customer number, dates, ordered products, delivery method, information on payment method, complaints and other customer communication
- Customer’s bank account number (only in situations where the customer needs to return money to the account)
- Customer service information, communication with customer service (emails and calls)
- Information sent via web forms and social media services
- information provided in customer meetings, offers and contracts
- Marketing-related information: e.g., participation information in competitions and events
- Authorization information, such as information on marketing authorizations or other authorizations and prohibitions related to the use of personal data.
Nomart Oy only collects information that is necessary to handle customer relationships, develop business, ensure a better customer experience across channels, and handle marketing communications. With the customer’s consent, to the extent that consent is required, the register may also be used to send newsletters and event invitations.
At least the customer’s information provided by the customer in connection with registration or purchase is stored in the customer register. Information added or updated by the user himself/herself or by Nomart Oy is also stored in the register.
Regular sources of information
Information concerning the data subject is mainly collected from the data subject himself/herself, from Nomart Oy’s systems and services used by the data subject and in connection with various marketing measures. Information may also be collected and updated from partner registers and from authorities and companies providing personal data services.
Customer register data will not be disclosed to third parties, except where applicable law requires the disclosure of personal data. The disclosure of personal data may be necessary, for example, at the request of an authority or for the purpose of legal proceedings. Nomart Oy may use partners and, if necessary, temporarily transfer the information in the customer register for processing in a secure manner, and in these cases, the information transferred to a third party will be properly destroyed. Partners do not have their own personal register of the information provided.
Transferring personal data outside the EU/EEA
As a general rule, Nomart Oy does not transfer or process data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. If data are exceptionally transferred outside the EU/EEA, an adequate level of protection of personal data will be ensured in accordance with the applicable legislation.
Storing personal data
Nomart Oy processes the personal data of the registered persons during the customer relationship or, for example, during the validity of the newsletter subscription or other service. The data may also be retained for a longer period required by law or due to the fulfillment of statutory or contractual obligations, based on, for example, guarantee and accounting obligations.
The customer register is maintained in systems that are adequately protected by personal passwords and firewalls in accordance with the general principles of security. The materials to be processed manually are located in premises to which only interested parties have access. Only those Nomart Oy employees whose job duties require this have access to the customer register.
An individual’s rights an ways of influencing the data processing
As a customer you have the right to:
-Have access to personal information about you, including the right to receive a copy of personal information about you
-Request the correction or deletion of personal information about you
-Under certain conditions, request a restriction on processing or object to the processing of personal data
In addition, if the processing is based on separate consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent. For requests related to the abovementioned rights, you may contact Nomart Oy customer service. The request must be sufficiently identified for us to verify your identity. Nomart Oy will notify you if we are unable to comply with your request in some respects, such as deleting any information that we have a legal obligation or right to retain. Nomart Oy will reply to you within the time limit set by the EU Data Protection Regulation (generally within one month). The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if he or she considers that Nomart Oy has processed personal data in breach of data protection legislation.
