Swedese was founded in 1945 by the two brothers Yngve and Jerker Ekström and Bertil Sjöqvist. The headquarters are located to Vaggeryd in Småland, Sweden, where one of the factories can be found. The second factory is located in Äng, a small village outside Nässjö, Sweden. Swedese’s collection is suitable for both homes and public spaces. Swedese’s best-known product is still the design classic Lamino armchair, designed by Yngve Ekström and it can be found in many Nordic homes, often upholstered with sheepskin. Flower table and Tree hanger series are also very popular products from Swedese.
