The Vipp story begins in 1939 with a bin for Marie. Holger Nielsen, a young metalworker crafts a sturdy, pedal-controlled bin for his wife’s salon. Over the next 50 years it becomes a permanent object in Danish clinics. Today Vipp has grown into a large portfolio of industrial design products developed from the functional philosophy of the pedal bin. Vipp opened its first flagship store in Copenhagen in 2011 and the collection has since grown into kitchen and bathroom products, furniture, lighting and interior textiles. Vipp is still a family-owned Danish design company run by Holger’s daughter Jette Egelund and her two children Kasper and Sofie.

In Finland a modular Vipp kitchen is available only from Nomart. The Vipp kitchen is timeless and elegant set of modular kitchen elements. There are four types of modules; island, island with seating, wall and tall modules. Each module can be built with predefined units of your choice. Opt for the industrial look with a worktop of stainless steel or soften up the steel kitchen with a grey stone worktop.
