ASPLUND was founded in Stockholm in 1990 by brothers Michael and Thomas Asplund, who opened a gallery where furniture was presented as art objects. From the very beginning, collaborations with designers and artists were at the core, and ASPLUND soon became a stage for contemporary art and design. Out of these roots grew an internationally recognized brand, offering furniture, carpets, and other timeless design pieces.

Nature, craftsmanship, materials and tradition have always been at the heart of ASPLUND’s design philosophy. The brand has shown that Swedish minimalism can be both warm and elegant – with the ambition to create design classics that can be passed on for generations.

Today, ASPLUND Collections, created together with renowned designers, can be found in homes, hotels, and public spaces all over the world.
