The Oxford chair was handcrafted for the professors at St Catherine’s College in Oxford and designed by Arne Jacobsen. It comes fully upholstered and is available with a low or medium back height, with or without armrests. The fully upholstered shell is available in a wide range of fabric and leather types. The base can be configured with either castors with aluminium housing (height adjustable with tilt mechanism) or black-grey plastic toes (fixed seat height with spring function). The base comes in two finishes; satin polished aluminium (standard) or mirror chrome.
